Let’s Dough Buffalo

I’ve never been described as “athletic” and my knowledge of sports is just enough to get by. I attend games for the friends, tight pants (think football or baseball) and food. Did I mention food?

I fully support team spirited food. Previously I think hot dogs and beer may have been the first items to come to mind, but that was before the Buffalo Sabres had their own Perry’s Ice Cream flavor Let’s Dough Buffalo.

What’s that? Well.. you’re in for a creamy cool delectable treat. Cookie dough ice cream with crushed cookie swirls and cookie dough pieces! YUM. If Cookies and Cream and Cookie Dough had a baby, this would be it.

And if you (or a “friend”) were wondering, the creamy cold treat pairs extremely well with a semi-sweet white wine.. say a Reisling or Gewurztraminer. I conducted the research myself and I have also collected a variety of supportive reviews:

“I guess I know what I’m buying when I go grocery shopping next week…” – Rebecca, 22, said after indulging in some of this DELICIOUS ice cream and sipping on the aforementioned wine.

“It pairs very well with morning coffee.” -Kara, 26, said after conducting her own research and determining that ice cream can be enjoyed any time of day.

“She (Allison) better by careful or that’s going to be gone by the time she get’s home from work tomorrow.” -Stacy, 29, said after having her first bowl, unlikely to be her last.

Move over Chicken Wings, before you know it people are going to be coming from near and far to a Western New York Tops, Dash’s or Weggies for some Let’s Dough Buffalo. It’s full of Buffalove and team spirit. I was lucky enough to be one of the first WNYers to indulge in the new flavor and it did not disappoint. Based on the 3/4’s empty container in the fridge it looks like I’ll be picking up another one by the end of the week!

*Shoutout to Perry’s Ice Cream for collaborating with me on this post! Check out the Work With Me tab on the Clearing Preppy’s Name homepage for more information.
