Fall Favorites That I Don’t Need

Pinterest is a blessing and a curse. I’m mindlessly scrolling through a bunch of baby bulldog pictures and then suddenly I see a brown leather Kate Spade crossbody bag… and somehow I’ve clicked the link and then I was sent to Macy’s and before I know it I have price compared with Bloomingdales and then I see it comes in more colors and it’s honestly just a lost cause.

So with this in mind I have used my favorite finds to compile a list:

Rivington Plaid Ruana

Am I already planning an outfit around this scarf/poncho? Yes, actually more than one; it will look fantastic with a long sleeved little black dress and the cranberry tights I wore today or a gray turtleneck and jeans or black.. or anything. AND IT HAS POCKETS.

The Hayes Street Eniko Cross Body.

Maybe it’s because I worked at Coach for a little while, but I just love a good authentic leather handbag. It’s an investment, for sure, but they’re just buttery and classic and I need another one like a hole in the head. I have a section of my closet dedicated to bags that could cover about 5 months of student loan payments.

Nameless Gorgeous Chunky Sweaters

The worst is when you see a picture that just screams gorgeous and there isn’t a link that leads you to ANYTHING. Like there is not just one, but two chunky sweaters that I need to own in one pictures and you’re sending me through an empty reward style link to Nordstrom where these are no longer carried because they sold out in 2007?! The nerve.

Basel Flat Bootie

I can’t decide if it is better or worse to follow the link to something clearly out of your budget. If only Tieks were as prevalent in my closet as they are on my Pinterest feed, but at $175-300 a pop, it’s gonna be a no from me.
